In the 1980s, Logan's historic theater on Main Street was at risk of being torn down for a parking lot. Today, it's the heart of the arts in Cache Valley, and the woman who keeps it running is here with me.
Wendi Hassan has been executive director of CacheARTS since 2015. She oversees the Ellen Eccles Theatre, the Bullen Center and the Thatcher-Young Mansion. She has a theatre degree and an MBA from Utah State, and a master's in arts policy from The Ohio State University. When COVID darkened stages in 2020, she found a way to keep local performers on the Eccles stage.
